What is TNI, The Trusted News Initiative?
-Who decides what is a fact and what is fake news?
This is just my interpretation and a short summary of a longer article that can be found here:
The Trusted News Initiative, TNI was founded in mid-2019 by BBC. The initial partners were Facebook, Financial Times, First Draft, Google, The Hindu, and The Wall Street Journal and the goal was to tackle global disinformation that could threaten human life or disrupt democracy during elections[1].
The initial goals might seem logical and reasonable at first glance?
Two weeks after the WHO announced the Covid-19 pandemic on March the 11th of 2020, many more news outlets and social platforms had joined, like Reuters, Twitter, Microsoft, France-press, and others.
In July of 2020 TNI had agreed to engage with a new verification technology called Project Origin to coordinate the suppression of covid-19 disinformation.
But who is really in charge of deciding what misinformation or disinformation really is?
And what about the freedom of speech and censorship, what is what?
The seven most censored topics of TNI’s early warning system regarding the pandemic have been:
1-The origins of the virus
Any evidence pointing to the Wuhan lab and the gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses funded by NIH through the EcoHealth Alliance was initially classified as disinformation. But Facebook and others have backed down and NIH has admitted that this indeed happened[2].
2-Denial of early treatment alternatives
Early treatment protocols for any disease are critical and they should always be part of a successful pandemic strategy. All though mounting evidence of safe and effective early treatment protocols[3] is mounting up, this is still being suppressed as disinformation.
3-Health professional with another view than TNI
Since the early days of the pandemic, any other health professional with a different perspective than TNI and regardless of their credentials have been censored, silenced, and discredited. Anyone questioning the narrative of the pandemic threatens the survival of all humanity, questioning that there might be a cure to the sick, questioning whether lockdowns and mask would do more harm than good, questioning that their might be more alternatives than the vaccine.
4-The high number of serious post-vaccine adverse events (no autopsies allowed)
Anyone asking questions about post-vaccines adverse events and their possible connection to the vaccine have been silenced and discredited, reporting systems for adverse events like VAERS have been called useless even though its 60 years of history and data on other vaccines
5-Natural immunity stronger than vaccine immunity
Very early on in Sweden, natural immunity was being discussed and herd immunity through natural immunity was discussed. But ever since mid-2020 any evidence suggesting that natural immunity is as good as or superior to vaccine induced immunity have been suppressed. Even though the evidence is mounting up[4] and we have about a century of a few other pandemics that have tought us that natural herd immunity always will prevail within a year or two.
6-Worrying evidence of ADE (Antibody-Dependent Enhancement)
This is probably the most concerning hypothesis[5] regarding the potential long-term negative consequences of the covid-19 vaccines. ADE in layman terms means that the immune system becomes worse off than before vaccination as the vaccine efficiency tapers off. Meaning the vaccine efficiency does not just come down to 0% after a certain time period, but it becomes negative. Even though it is not clear if this is the case, real-world data from the UK[6] is certainly pointing in this direction.
7-The central role of co-morbidities in the covid-19 death toll
This has been somewhat discussed in mainstream media but has not really been the focus of the discussion. Covid-deaths both in the UK and the US[7] have been in patients with co-morbidities in about 19 out of 20 cases.
What about the effects that TNI has had on the information that the public has received through mainstream media during the pandemic?
Dr. Piers Robinson, co-director of the Organisation for Propaganda Studies, says: “It wouldn’t be an underestimation to say that this is probably one of the biggest propaganda operations that we have seen in history”
